The Apollo High School boys’ basketball team has advanced to the Sweet 16 state tournament at Rupp Arena in Lexington. The team will leave Apollo High School at 8 a.m. today (Wednesday, March 14) to prepare for their first game against Covington Catholic on Thursday evening.
But before leaving Daviess County, the team will visit several DCPS schools to enjoy a rousing send-off and to inspire younger students about the successes that are possible as a result of hard work, dedication and teamwork.
