The City of Owensboro and the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce will partner with the event, blocking the street off and creating the best block party in Owensboro’s history! Join the party from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. for live music, draft beer trucks (yes, even some green beers), themed O.Z. Tyler Bourbon cocktails, Irish whiskey, Irish foods, and St. Patrick’s day swag.
$10 cover charge (purchased at the gate) with food and drink available for purchase inside the 21+ open container area. Wear your favorite green gear and join us for this historic event!
Color Blast 5K
The Color Blast 5K is a fun family run/walk color celebration to recognize the positive impact individuals with special needs have on our lives, to acknowledge their abilities, and help spread awareness!
The Color Blast 5K is brought to you by five Owensboro non-profits — Puzzle Pieces, GRADSA, Dream Riders of KY, Team Karlie and Wendell Foster, whose common missions are to support and enhance the quality of life of those with disabilities. Participation in this event will directly benefit the host organizations.
The 5K participants are encouraged to wear white (don’t forget to have fun with it using headbands, tall socks, tutus, anything white) and community volunteers along the run/walk route will shower the runners/walkers with a safe and non-toxic colored powder at each mile marker. The color fun continues to the after party, where participants can expect a foam finish. Everyone is encouraged to participate — families, schools, church groups, and friends. This non-competitive 5K event is meant for fun and to support a great cause!
Last minute registration for adults will be $35, $15 for students, kids 5 and under are free. Registration closes Friday, March 16 at 11:59 p.m.

The record of 864,838 votes was more than twice that of the runner-up. Gary began touring on his own and in 2002 formed a band ‘The Works,’ to pay tribute to the rock legends of Queen. Since May 2002, ‘Gary Mullen and the Works’ have performed throughout the UK, USA, Europe, South Africa and New Zealand to sell-out audiences. The outfit has also twice rocked the prestigious BBC Proms in the Park, in front of a very enthusiastic crowd of 40,000. “One Night of Queen” is a spectacular live concert, recreating the look, sound, pomp and showmanship of arguably the greatest rock band of all time.
