It looks like this will be a beautiful weekend for the Owensboro Air Show. As of Friday morning, Owensboro Events coordinator Tim Ross says all Friday night activities are still on as planned. (The Friday night activities have been rained out in the past.)
Here’s what you can expect for Owensboro Air Show and Bridge Day activities:
Friday, September 22, 2017 @ Owensboro Regional Airport (2200 Airport Rd)
Don’t miss your chance to get up close and personal to a wide range of aircraft. Friday will be your chance to meet some of the pilots of these aircraft and experience a taste of the Owensboro Air Show. As the sun begins to set, a few performers will take to the sky to entertain the crowds with an evening spectacle of nighttime air show performances followed by fireworks to conclude the night, presented by Independence Bank.
Gates open at 4pm until approximately 7:30pm.
Admission is just $2.00 per person and kids 10 and under are FREE. There will be food and drink vendors onsite.
