Wendell Foster, a local non-profit agency serving people with disabilities, will be hosting a free community outdoor concert on May 19. The Owensboro Symphony Orchestra’s 2nd Street Big Band is coming to Wendell Foster’s Sensory Park for the Big Band Glow in the Park Party. The outdoor concert will begin with picnicking in the park at 6:30 with food and drinks available for purchase. The 2nd Street Big Band will play instrumental and vocal hits from the 20’s, 30’s, 40’s and 50’s that are sure to keep your toes taping throughout the night.
There will be plenty of excitement and fun as a couple of programs here at Wendell Foster will be raising money for summer vacations and activities.
