Over 130 runners showed up at the Rudy Mine Trails at Ben Hawes on Sunday for the 2014 Legends Spooky Trail Race. The 3rd annual race is Owensboro’s only trail race.
“We caught a weather break. We had 3 days of really nice weather after a rain and it made the course really nice,” said Dylan Hammons with Legends.
The race also featured a cookout, live music, a costume contest and really cool trophies – gold pick axes modeled after the event logo.
