“By supporting our schools and students in a collaborative effort, it not only enhances our future, it also brings our community together,” said Ric Herrera, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Specialty Foods Group, the title sponsor for Exploration Station.
“We are incredibly grateful anytime we can get extra support from our community to provide resources for our students,” said Nick Brake, Superintendent, Owensboro Public Schools. “School supplies play an important factor in a student’s ability to be prepared for school.”
Said Owens Saylor, Superintendent, Daviess County Public Schools, “We truly appreciate the generosity of our community in providing school supplies that ensure that children are ready to learn starting on the very first day of school. Pencils, notebooks, and crayons are important tools, but it’s the outstanding support of our parents and community that really ensures the success of students.”
