The City of Owensboro Parks and Recreation has two golf opportunities beginning this April: the 3rd Annual Spring Monday Night Business League and Owensboro Junior Golf Foundation.
Owensboro Junior Golf Foundation – Ben Hawes Golf Course
Improve your child’s golf game with the Owensboro Junior Golf Foundation. This foundation is a First Tee Life Skill Provider. Its Mission is to impact the lives of young people in Western Kentucky and Southern Indiana by providing a learning facility and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.
The Spring Session (April 10-May 24, 2017) and the Summer Session (June 12-August 2, 2017) take place at Ben Hawes Golf Course. Each session fee is $40 (7 week classes) and the annual family fee is $50. The Cost includes lessons and Saturday open play on the Par 3. Tuition assistance available.
Age Group Sessions:
- 5-6: Mondays @ 5-6 p.m.
- 7-8: Mondays @ 6-7 p.m.
- 9-12: Tuesdays @ 5-6 p.m.
- 13-18: Tuesdays @ 6-7 p.m.
- Advanced: Weds @ 5-6 p.m.

3rd Annual Spring Monday Night Business League @ Ben Hawes Par 3
Ben Hawes is offering its 3rd Annual Spring Monday Night Business League in April and May on their Par 3 course. Each 2-person team will play a 9 hole scramble for a quick round of fun! The cost for this league will be $40 per player. The league will run for 8 weeks and includes cart rental.
