The Owensboro Symphony Orchestra released today a video invitation to the
general public via FACEBOOK inviting individuals to subscribe to the
Symphony’s Fiftieth Season entitled “The Season You’ve Been Waiting For!”
The music in the video is Rossini’s William Tell Overture performed by the
Symphony during its 49th Season Finale concert. Members of the orchestra are
featured throughout the video making their way to Owensboro’s RiverPark
Center for a performance. Musicians come by helicopter, by pedi-cab, by
Owensboro’s signature trolley, limousine, kayak, electric scooter and scuba
suit. Nothing get’s in the way of our musicians.
Great things will be happening in Cannon Hall during the Symphony’s 2015-16
Season! Opening Night is October 17th,2015 featuring Cirque de la Symphonie.
In addition, the 50th Season features the Marriage of Figaro (November 14,
2015), Holiday Pops (December 13, 2015), Michael Cavanaugh in Concert: The
Music of Billy Joel and more!(march 19, 2015). The season ends April 16,
2016 with the Fiftieth Finale- A Gershwin Celebration with some of
Owensboro’s favorites, including Diane Earle, vocalists Bradley Naylor, Lisa
Clark, Tevin Vincent and the Owensboro Symphony Chorus and dancers from
Musick Studios.
Subscription tickets for the Owensboro Symphony’s 2015-16 Fiftieth Season
are on sale now! First-time symphony subscribers can purchase season tickets
at a 50% discount. Ticket information is available through the Owensboro

270-684-0661. Single tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, two
weeks prior to each performance date.
