Busy people in the Owensboro area now have a helping hand at their service.
Alex Reid launched My Custom Concierge, Owensboro’s premier concierge and errand service, last month.
Services include:

You might expect a concierge at a fancy hotel in a large city. Not so much in Owensboro. But Reid plans to change all that.
Alex says he pulled from his personal experience working in the hotel industry for inspiration. “Owensboro is such an up-and-coming community professionally and economically, yet there is no one to cater to the businesses and individuals who need errands ran, dogs walked, groceries or other needs they don’t have to time to fulfill because of work, school, or other obligations,” Reid said, explaining where My Custom Concierge can be of service.
As the business grows and gets established, Reid hopes to rival concierge services like you’d find in major cities. Future plans include an app allowing customers to schedule services from their phones.
So far, Reid has received “a great response from the community as I continue to raise awareness that we are here to stay.” In the first few weeks, Reid targeted every hotel in Owensboro. Since then, he has focused on building social media presence. “At this point, it’s all about getting the word out,” he said.
