The Third Annual Lanham Brothers Jamboree Christmas Show will be held Saturday, December 13th at Diamond Lake Resort’s “Good Time” Theater.
Randy Lanham says crowds can “expect a wide variety of singers and styles of Christmas music. You will hear country, bluegrass, rock, and folk, as well as comedy, skits, and lots of crowd interaction.”
Special guest performers are a fun part of each jamboree, but this Christmas Show features a jam-packed line-up including Marty Brown (finalist on America’s Got Talent), Jenny Beth Willis (finalist on American Idol), Joe Christian, Wayne Morris, Emily Wills, John Lanham, Skylar Cain, Gaining Ground and Jeff Hardesty, and the Footstompin’ Express Cloggers. Even Santa will make a special appearance.
“The crowd interaction is always fun,” Randy said. “We bring people on stage for a skit and their family and friends are rolling in the floor laughing.”
It’s not all just fun and games, though. In the spirit of Christmas, the Lanhams decided to donate the proceeds from the evening to a local non-profit, Help Someone, Inc. “The Christmas show is a way of giving back to the community,” Barry Lanham explained. “100 percent of the proceeds go directly to charity. Every performer, tech, band member, and Diamond Lake are donating their time, talent, and energy to help a very worthy organization. This is what the season is all about – helping others in need.”
Another interesting side note is the show will be filmed and aired on KET and WNIN. Last year’s Christmas show will be featured on KET Monday, Dec 22nd at 6:30pm.
Tickets to the Lanham Brothers Jamboree Christmas Show are $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6-12, and ages 5 and under are free. For more info go to www.lanhambrothersjamboree.com.
