Krispy Kreme made a grand opening event page on Facebook for the Owensboro location (4911 Frederica).
According to that page, the grand opening is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7 at 6 a.m.
It goes on to say the first person through the door at 6 a.m. will receive one free dozen Original Glazed doughnuts every week for one year.
The next 99 guests through the door will receive one free dozen Original Glazed doughnuts each month for one year.
The first 250 guests in line will receive a free commemorative T-shirt.
Krispy Kreme grand openings usually involve people camping out for days to be first in line. To make camping out more fun, the store will host a “pre-opening celebration” on Monday, June 6 with live music, food, and fun in the parking lot from 6 – 9 p.m.
