Kentucky Wesleyan College is offering a study trip to Cuba from Saturday, Oct. 7 – Saturday, Oct. 14. The trip is open to the public for either credit (3 hours in International Studies) or audit and includes opportunities to explore the island and its history and culture and get to know the people of Cuba. The popular event is the fourth trip to Cuba offered by the College, and there are a limited number of reservations available.
The itinerary includes:
Day 1 – Arrival and bus tour of Havana
Day 2 – Walking tour of Old Havana, lecture, El Canonaza
Day 3 – Las Terrazas Nature Reserve, meet local artists
Day 4 – Alamar Cooperative, Cojimar, La Lavanderia, Murleando
Day 5 – Historic Cienfuegos and Trinidad de Cuba
Day 6- Walking tour of Trinidad, Valle de los Ingenios
Day 7 – Army truck tour of Topes de Collantes
Day 8 – Return to United States
