The Engineering Academy of the Community Campus program will host an information session at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 2, in the auditorium and engineering classrooms at Apollo High School, 2280 Tamarack Road. The event is open to current eighth-grade and high school students attending all area high schools who may be interested in careers in the engineering fields, and their families.
The evening will also showcase a variety of engineering projects that have been created by students currently enrolled in the Community Campus Engineering Academy. Faculty and staff members will be on hand to provide information about enrolling in the program for the 2017-18 school year and the opportunity for students to earn college credit while still in high school.
All students, parents, and guardians who are interested in learning more about the Engineering Academy of Community Campus are encouraged to attend. For more information or to complete an online application for next year’s program, apollopltw.weebly.com
