The United States Army Parachute Team, nicknamed “The Golden Knights,” is the U.S. Army’s official aerial demonstration team. The Team travels around the United States, performing parachute demonstrations at air shows, major league football and baseball games, and special events, connecting the Army with the American people.
All eyes will be on the skies over the Ohio River in downtown Owensboro as performers showcase vintage warbirds, military jet, as well as “The Golden Knights”. The Owensboro Air Show is from 1:00 pm – approx. 3:30 pm
Additionally, “The Golden Knights” will make a couple jumps around Owensboro before the Air Show. Wednesday, October 1 the team will jump at Apollo High School at 7:50 a.m. and the following day at the Owensboro High School Rash Stadium Football Field at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 2.
