Students waited in the rain, lining Highway 54, to bid Taylor Widmer goodbye. And as the hearse made it’s approach, the sky opened and the sun began to shine. Members of Daviess County High School, Owensboro High School and Owensboro Catholic High School football teams wore their jerseys and stood in reverence.
