GO Recycling is hosting an open house this Saturday at their sorting center from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. for anyone interested in seeing their operations.
Greener Owensboro (GO) Recycling is a curbside collection service that was created in 2010 to help residents and businesses in the Owensboro area go green. The GO Recycling sorting facility is a warehouse located at 6834 U.S. Hwy 431.
Owner John Fentress said, “Anyone can come see our recycling plant for themselves any time, but we decided to have an open house Saturday just to invite everybody out to see it.”
After the materials are sorted at the facility, recyclables are then taken to a recycling center like Southern Recycling, Dahl & Groezinger, or Green Works Recycling .
