Due to the record breaking cold air temperatures we are experiencing, the Owensboro-Daviess County Central Dispatch Center will not be conducting the usual Friday afternoon Tornado Siren test on Friday February 20. This decision has been made to prevent damage to the mechanical workings of the sirens. In the event an actual siren warning is required for severe weather, the warning system will be activated at the appropriate time.
