The City of Owensboro’s Edge Ice Center will be celebrating the upcoming holiday season with special public ice skating sessions beginning December 22. The Edge will be open weekdays’ noon to 4 p.m. and 7-10 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. The Edge will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The holiday sessions will run through January 2. Rates vary depending on the session times; however a special holiday price of only $3 per person will be in effect December 26 from noon to 4 p.m. and also New Year’s Day from noon to 4 p.m. Regular public skating hours will resume on January 3.
