The Owensboro Museum of Science and History has a full two days of activities planned to celebrate Earth Day 2016.
Friday, April 22
12 p.m. – Alan Drake will present “Practical Ways to Save Energy” during a brown bag lunch in the Wendell H. Ford Government Education Center.
3 p.m. – Water Testing Demos (by Watershed Watch) and Enviroscape Demos (by Joanne Palmer from the Division of Water).
Saturday, April 23
10:30 a.m. – Water Testing Demos and Enviroscape Demos (by Watershed Watch) and Discovery Decomposition (by Audubon Society).
11 a.m. – Owensboro Catholic High School Environment Club Presentation (by Raychel Bahnick).
2 p.m. – Sand Wars A documentary film about one of hte most consumed natural resources on the planet. In the Wendell H. Ford Government Educational Center Gallery.
Also, the Division of Forestry will be giving away trees throughout the day!
