The Public Works Department is asking for our help in their war on potholes. If you’ve got an annoying pothole on your street, now is your chance to get something done about it.
The City released a statement today asking for citizens to report potholes by calling City Action at 270-687-4444, e-mailing [email protected] or using the OnlyOwensboro app to report the location of all potholes.
“Our goal is to have every pothole in the city identified and patched as quickly as possible,” the statement says.
Reports will be compiled November 2-6th. Then City crews will patch as many potholes as possible the week of November 9 through November 13.
Please be specific when reporting potholes by referencing street addresses or intersections. The City will also pass the location of potholes on state or county streets to the proper officials.
