As a part of the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce’s mission to provide leadership, advocacy and member services that foster grown and economic prosperity for our region, the Chamber will host an issues forum for the Kentucky House of Representatives.
The forum is open to the public to provide the citizens of Daviess County the opportunity to learn more about their options in the races of Kentucky House of Representatives (Districts 7, 11, 12, 13 and 14).
“Our Chamber leadership believes that issue forums help the community get to know the candidates even more before the election,” said Candance Castlen Brake, President and CEO of the Chamber. “It is our role at the chamber to provide non-partisan access to the candidates and learn their positions on issues that affect the economic prosperity of the Greater Owensboro region.”
The issues forum for the Kentucky House of Representatives will take place on Tuesday, November 1 at 5 p.m. in the Blandford Lecture Hall at Owensboro Community and Technical College. The event will be moderated by Matt Francis, Executive Editor of the Messenger- Inquirer.
No questions will be taken from the floor during the forum. The event is free and open to the public, and no reservations are required to attend.
