Thousands of residents and visitors took to downtown Owensboro, yesterday, to walk the Blue Bridge and enjoy the activities of East Bridge Arts & Music Festival. “We thought it was a perfect and a beautiful day. Everything ran smoothly, we couldn’t have asked for a better day,” said Katherine Taylor of Studio Slant.
“We are thrilled with the turnout again this year and how much the community is enjoying the opportunity to enjoy the Bridge Day events,” said Tim Ross, Director of Public Events for the City of Owensboro. “With more than 15,000 people walking and biking the bridge in addition to everyone at the East Bridge Arts Festival, Hilliard Lyons Fitness Classic and numerous other events, it is obvious the community enjoys all of the activities that were happening downtown yesterday.”
