A group of supporters walked from the Riverpark Center to the C. Martel Wightman Unit of the Boys & Girls Club to create awareness for the need of the club in Owensboro. The Wightman Unit on East 19th Street is closing after it was announced it needed nearly $100,000 to keep it open.
