Brescia University’s Barney the Bearcat is competing for a chance to advance to the NAIA Mascot Challenge.
Voting is now open for the River States Conference Mascot Challenge. If Barney is in the top 8, he will advance to the next round of voting with the opportunity to compete in the national bracket for the NAIA Mascot Challenge!
First-round voting closes Saturday, February 11, 2017, at 3 p.m. To cast your vote, click here, then click “like” on the photo of Barney.
The second round will begin Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 11 p.m. with a showdown conducted on the RSC Twitter page (@RiverStatesConf).
The final round will begin Friday, Feb. 17 at 11 p.m. with another Twitter contest @RiverStatesConf. The second-round winners who advanced in the bracket will square with hopes of qualifying for the national challenge. The two winners in this round will be the RSC’s national qualifiers, and the school that received the most votes in their final-round matchup will be declared the RSC Mascot Challenge champion and receive our top seed at NAIAs.
