The Daviess County Audubon Society will present a program at the Owensboro Museum of Science and History on Tuesday, November 3rd at 7 p.m. A DVD will be shown on the history and purpose of the annual Christmas Bird Count, which is part of an international count sponsored by the National Audubon Society.
The count “is an effort to identify trends in the location and status of birds around the world,” explained past president of the Daviess County Audubon Society, Judy Adams.
The program is free and open to the public.
