The Alma Randolph Charitable foundation will be hosting its spring 2017 HUTS (Hands Up to Succeed) Project June 2-3 for two deserving families.

In December of last year, the foundation announced its new HUTS Project designed to enhance the living conditions of disadvantaged families by providing or upgrading their furniture, appliances, and household repairs.

These families will enjoy a limo ride for an overnight stay at the Holiday Inn Riverfront Hotel, where they will be treated to a Pool & Pizza Party. Atmos Energy, Limos by Knight, and the Holiday Inn Riverfront have partnered with the foundation to make this a memorable experience for these families.

Two teams of volunteers will invade their homes to transform every room that upgrades are needed. The families will return home on June 3rd for the BIG REVEAL.

Businesses may contribute in-kind items (e.g. furniture, appliances, and household items) to assist the foundation with completing this project. Volunteers are needed to assist with household repairs to flooring, walls, windows and doors.

If anyone or a group is interested in sponsoring a room for a family, please call the Alma Randolph Charitable Foundation at (270) 852-6559, no later than Monday, May 15th.

Sponsors to date for the Spring HUTS Project are:

  • Atmos Energy
  • Holiday Inn Riverfront Hotel
  • Limos by Knight

Two additional HUTS Projects will be held in November and December.
