Can you hear them overhead yet? If not right now, it won’t be long.
Several of the Owensboro Air Show performers will be arriving throughout the day. Expect to hear them practicing and flying their routes in preparation for this weekend’s festivities.
Come out Saturday and Sunday for aerial performances above the riverfront. Here are the details:
Owensboro Air Show
Saturday, Oct. 1 AND Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016 – Downtown Owensboro Riverfront, 1:00 – 4:00 pm
All eyes will be on the skies over the Ohio River in downtown Owensboro as performers showcase vintage warbirds, military jets, aerobatic demonstrations, and the Canadian Forces Snowbirds!
Performers include:
- Canadian Forces Snowbirds
- U.S. Army Golden Knights (parachute team)
- Aeroshell Aerobatic Team
- U.S. Navy F/A 18-Hornet Tactical Demonstration
- CAF Red Tail Squadron
- Gary Ward
