The Owensboro Parks and Recreation Department is now accepting reservations for park shelters located at Legion, Moreland, English, Ben Hawes Parks and the gazebo at Cap Gardner Nature Park.
Reservations can be made at least two weeks in advance for any shelter April-October 2016 from 7 a.m.-9 p.m.
Shelters are located at Legion, Moreland, English and Cap Gardner parks at a cost of $35 for 4 hours and an additional $10 for each hour after that.
Reservations can be made by calling the Owensboro Parks and Recreation Administrative Center at 270-687-8700 or by visiting the Administrative Center in person Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
The Administrative Center is located at 1530 McJohnson Avenue, across from Chautauqua Park.
