Summer is in full effect with these super hot temperatures but the garden still looks great. Western Kentucky Botanical Garden is hosting several events for the community in the coming weeks.
Saturday, August 5th will be a very busy at the Garden with 3 different opportunities:
- 1st Saturday for Kids (ages 5-11) 10am to Noon – “Wooly Worm Forecast” located in the Educational Classroom.
- First Weekend Wonders – (Volunteer work session) 9am to Noon with a light lunch provided. We have this work session every month on the First Saturday. High School students can get their volunteer hours at this session
- 1st Saturday Stop By: Experience The Herb Garden. (Adults and kids) 10am. Learn about the different parts of The Garden at our 1st Saturday Stop By. Stop by for a special focus on our herb garden in full bloom!
Tuesday, August 8th
- Walk & Talk (11:30am – 1:00pm)
