Kentucky Wesleyan College to host Chamber Music Concert

The Kentucky Wesleyan College Music Program will host a recital, Chamber Music of John Steffa, on Friday, Jan. 20, at 7 p.m. in Tapscott Chapel in the Barnard-Jones Administration Building.

The program will feature compositions by composer John Steffa and will be performed by Diane Earle, piano; Kristen Kean, flute; Rob Murray, trumpet; Lauren Murray, oboe; and Nancy Steffa, viola.

John Steffa is former professor of music at Murray State University and now lives in Asheville, N.C. Earle is artist in residence at Kentucky Wesleyan College. Kean is professor of flute at Eastern Kentucky University; Rob Murray is professor of trumpet at Columbus State University in Georgia; Lauren Murray is director of the Patel Conservatory in Tampa, Fla.; and Nancy Steffa is a violist for several orchestras in North Carolina.

The hourlong program is free and open to the public. For additional information, contact Earle at 270-852-3617.
