August 26, 2017, is the 6th annual Aid the Homeless® Benefit Gala at the Cliff Hagan Boys & Girl Club.
The event will include dancing, hors d’oeuvres, and entertainment from 7:30p-11:30p. The theme for this year’s event is “Prom through the Ages.”
In addition, several local personalities are competing for the title of this year’s Prom King and Queen. Individuals may vote for the participants with their dollars, and a full list of Prom Court contestants can be found at AidtheHomeless.org or on Facebook.
Supporting the homeless in the Owensboro area
by raising public awareness and funding for local shelters.
Aid the Homeless® Inc. was formed to provide financial support to local homeless shelters and raise awareness of homelessness in the community. During our half-decade of existence, $230,370.94 has been raised to the benefit of the shelters. At last year’s Gala total contributions were $41,083.33.
