Only two Fridays remain as the FA5’s twentieth season nears the grand finale.
This week, Kentucky Wesleyan College welcomes their class of 2020 to FA5. Kentucky Wesleyan is providing talent (alumni, professors, and students) to “open” for each band on all venues this week.
The Wesleyan Way is also the “street fair” theme with inflatables, KWC team members at interactive booths, art show, Live raptors from their Zoology Department, balloon animals created using only purple and white balloons, many pictures taken with a “purple” frame and much more!
Friday After 5 Details for August 26:
- This week Kentucky Wesleyan College presents “7 Bridges” (Ultimate Eagles Tribute Band) on the Jagoe Homes patio stage on the BB&T Plaza at the RiverPark Center. “Millie & Tyler” open for 7 Bridges (6:30pm to 7:30pm) and “7 Bridges” begins at 8:00pm.
- Matt Hanks opens for “Calabash” (Popular Dance Rock 8pm-11:30pm) on the Don Moore Party Pier.
- Diane Earle opens for “King’s Highway” (Dr. Earle at 6:15pm and King’s Highway Bluegrass 7pm-10pm) in the Atmos Energy Courtyard.
- We’ll feature the “Rock a Teens” on the Cromwell Radio New Sound Overlook stage (6pm) followed by KWC DJ Sammy Bland until 10pm.
- Glenn’s Gospel on the River presents “Crossmen Quartet”, “Deena Ashley” and the “Joylanders” in Cannon Hall.
It’s a special salute to non-profits at the Kroger Street Fair.

- “Over the Edge for MentorKids” – We will have people actually rappelling down the Hampton Inn & Suites Hotel including a very special guest Governor Matt Bevin!
- A “Pokeman GO Chase” in Smothers Park.
- This week’s special DC Library Storybook Character is “Honey Bear and her friend Tiger” courtesy of TD’s Tuff Decisions Costumes.
