Daviess County Middle School is hosting its first annual Boo Run Run — a costume-themed 3K and 5K walk/run race scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 1.
Both courses begin and end on the DCMS campus; 3K stays on the campus for the entire route. Start times are 2 p.m. (5K) and 2:05 p.m. (3K). The goal is to promote healthy living and exercise for faculty, staff, students, friends and family of DCMS and DCPS; while raising money to create and sustain healthy environments for students.
Registration fee is $5 per person (age 6 and older) with sign-ups starting at 1 p.m. race day.
As an added element of fun, participants are encouraged to walk or run in their Halloween costumes. Costumes are optional.
The day will also include inflatables, games and healthy snacks for all participants from 2 to 4 p.m., with T-shirts available for $15 on race day.
