The ‘Faces of Our Heroes’ veterans tribute will be on display Memorial Day Weekend, May 26-29, 2017. The exhibit was first displayed in 2015 and gave the public the opportunity to share the stories of family and friends who served in the U.S. military through a unique memorial display at the Owensboro Convention Center.

‘Faces of our Heroes’ is an opportunity to honor deceased veterans from throughout Owensboro. A special pictorial tribute to our veterans will be created inside the Owensboro Convention Center and will include photos and information about ‘Heroes’ from our region.

If a veteran was registered with the exhibit in 2015, you do not need to submit their information again.

For anyone who was not registered as part of the exhibit and would like to be, the City of Owensboro is working in conjunction with Daviess County Public Library again to gather the information for the exhibit. Photos and registration forms may be submitted at the library. Entry forms may be downloaded from the city’s website or picked up at the library. Your photo will be scanned at the library when you submit the registration form.

Faces of our Heroes will be on display at the Owensboro Convention Center from Friday, May 26 through Monday, May 29, 2017.
