From the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department:
“We deeply regret bringing another sad image of animal cruelty. The only choice we have would chance not finding the person responsible. In the area of Thruston Dermont Rd. on 1/3/2015 This loved pet named Tiger was shot possibly with a crossbow. Tiger was taken to Wills animal hospital, where the arrow was removed and a cast applied. The arrow is pink, 18”, with red and yellow fletching. As of today Tiger is just beginning to eat again. His cast has been removed, but there is still a risk of amputation. If you know anything about this please call the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office and leave a message for Deputy Kenny Burns. We know from experience that this post will circulate widely and draw a passionate response, as it should. Please understand the we are using Facebook to get help or leads in the case. We will not be able to answer a lot of the questions you have, or keep you updated on details of the case on Facebook.”
