Did you know that according to the National Center on Family Homelessness, an estimate of nearly 67,000 Kentucky children were homeless in 2012-2013, which ranks Kentucky worst among all 50 states?
Aid the Homeless, Inc., a 501c-3 not-for profit organization, was established by the Greater Owensboro Realtor® Association with the goal of raising public awareness and supporting the homeless in the Owensboro area.
The 4th Annual Aid the Homeless, Inc. benefit will be held Thursday, June 4, 2015, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the RiverPark Center. Tickets to the event are $50, which includes an evening of special cuisine, fine beverages, and musical entertainment while helping our community provide shelter for the homeless in our area.
Thanks to generous individuals, companies and organizations, Aid the Homeless has celebrated several very successful events raising over $200,000 for five local area shelters:

  • Adrienne’s House
  • Boulware Mission
  • The Daniel Pitino Shelter
  • Saint Benedict’s
  • OASIS

Greater Owensboro Realtor® Association provides administrative services and the funds necessary for operational expenses to support Aid the Homeless programs and events, so that 100% of outside donations are actually used to benefit the shelters.
