French Lick Resort will have the honor of hosting the American Veterans Traveling Tribute (AVTT) and the AVTT Traveling Vietnam Wall November 9 -12, 2017, a poignant reminder for Veteran’s Day.
The AVTT Traveling Vietnam Wall is touring across the United States to pay tribute to men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of our country. The AVTT Traveling Vietnam Wall is an 80% scale version of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. Every name on the original wall is etched on the AVTT Traveling Vietnam Wall, which is 360 feet in length. Rubbings may be taken with the provided wall rubbing sheet.
The journey began in 1998 as a way to allow people to honor and remember veterans and active military personnel without having to make the trip to D.C.
We hope you’ll join us for a special presentation on Thursday, November 9 at 4pm that will officially begin the four days of showcasing the AVTT Traveling Tribute and Vietnam Wall at French Lick Resort.
